How Can I Program My 4 Photo Memories?
Picture memories can be assigned to four contacts, which is particularly useful for those with memory loss issues as the images will appear on the front screen and when you receive a call. Programming the images can be achieved via text message (or SMS). From another mobile phone, you should do the following:
- Send the following text message to your Geemarc CL8000: PIC_PHB#name1,number1;name2,number2;name3,number3;name4,number4
Please note that it's crucial to include the correct uppercases, lowercases and special characters in order for this transfer to be successful.
How Does the SOS Button Work?
Designed for use during emergencies, the CL8000 has a red SOS button which is positioned on the back of the phone. This can be pressed by the user, which then alerts emergency contacts in your phone.
Once pressed, a geolocation system also activates, allowing carers and emergency contacts to swiftly locate the owner of the phone. This feature is particularly essential when caring for individuals prone to wandering, such as those with conditions like dementia, and can de-stress users who may be confused or panicked.
