Signolux Direct Universal Transmitter

For the hard of hearing, being unable to hear what's going on around your home can make it difficult to keep in touch with friends and loved ones.

A great addition to any Signolux system, the Signolux Direct Universal Transmitter directly detects a range of different things around the home to give a great level of alerting for the hearing-impaired.

Phone Connection

The universal transmitter can connect to the telephone line and will alert any nearby Signolux receivers to incoming phone calls, ensuring that the hard of hearing can always hear the phone ringing. A double adapter is also included for use with a single phone socket.

Doorbell Connection

A 2.5mm jack on the universal transmitter enables it to be connected to a range of systems. It can connect to the low voltage side of existing doorbell systems, tying them in to your Signolux system for greater ease of use and accurate doorbell monitoring.

Alternatively, it can also be connected directly to alarm systems with a wired terminal output with a 3V to 15V AC or DC range.

Closing Switch Connection

A 3.5mm jack in the transmitter is designed for connecting closing contact switches including door/window contacts, floor pressure mats and water level detectors to the Signolux system. This gives the system a massive level of versatility so that you can get the Signolux system that's right for you.

The dimensions of the Signolux Direct Universal Transmitter are:

• Width: 122mm
• Depth: 38mm

Please note: only one connection can be used per transmitter at any one time. Additionally, this product requires a Signolux receiver such as the Signolux Visual Signal Alert System Receiver to function, and will not work as a standalone item.
